Important question for new dog owners and dogs who have not yet taught their dogs the essential obedience skills needed to raise a well-behaved family pet...
If only there was an easy step-by-step method to train dogs
To get your dog to listen to and obey your obedience commands (like "Come!" and "Sit down") the first time.
Would you finally feel confident enough to train your dog?

Unfortunately, most dog owners feel that this problem will go away on their own and their dog"magic"Start listening to them as your dog gets older...

(And why do I cringe when I hear this)
You've probably been asked that a dozen times...
For your friends, family, neighbors and anyone else you might have met on one of your neighborhood walks with your dog...
You ask with the best of intentions...
But still... It can feel like a punch in the pit of your stomach...
Especially when you were trying to be a good parent and train your dog... But no matter what you did, nothing seemed to work, and in fact it only seemed to get worse...
So what's the question?
"Have you ever done something?
training with your dog?”
Eca.
You want to explode...
You don't ask maliciously...
But in my opinion there is no more daunting question for a dog owner than to ask if they have exercised their dog...
It's like all the hours you've spent training your dog have been for nothing... Maybe you can relate?
I still remember the day I was asked this question...
It was during my dogOnyx' erster Agility-Kurs...There were five other dogs in the class along with their owners and we all had the task of familiarizing our dogs with agility equipment...
I was tasked with making Onyx comfortable when he walks through a tunnel...
Which I gladly accepted... Because agility competitions were one of mineDREAMS…I had seen these dogs on YouTube and thought it was the coolest thing ever...
So to get Onyx to walk through the tunnel, I had to let go of her leash and encourage her to walk... But as soon as she realized I wasn't holding her leash anymore...
get program
Then all hell broke loose...
She started with what you do"dog is on fire"around the skill ring…
She ran enthusiastically from hurdle to hurdle and from dog to dog as if her name had just been called. The price is correct...
That went on for a good 5 minutes... which felt like an eternity...
I kept calling her name "ONYX!" and come on!" to try and get her to come back to me...
But as soon as I approached her, she kept running in the opposite direction...
She was having so much fun...I obviously wasn't.
All the other dog owners had to stop what they were doing and watch me until I finally managed to chase my dog and grab his leash...
It's an understatement I feltHUMBLEand like aCOMPLETE FAILURE.
But that wasn't even the worst...
That happenedTHREEFirst half of class... And after the third time I couldn't take it anymore and left...
But on the way out, one of the other dog owners who also trained his dog to do agility asked me the question.
It hit me like a ton of bricks.
"Have you exercised your dog?"he asked.
Obviously I had... But it didn't show up...
All they could see was how badly Onyx was misbehaving in the agility ring... and ignoring all my attempts to get her to come back to me...
When I got home I was sad and sad...
I thought my canine agility career was over before it began. I started thinking about all the reasons why agility might not be an option for Onyx and I...
Maybe I'm bad at training my dog?
Maybe huskies aren't made for agility?
Maybe I should give up?
So...I'm not sure what triggered these thoughts, but I started thinking about my dream and how awesome it would be to be a part of itDog Agility with Onyx…
In my mind I imagined the two of us winning 1st place in a competition, side by side, happy and fulfilled as best friends...
These thoughts kept me from giving up that night...
So the next day I pulled myself together and dug up my dusty old obedience training manual and got back to training the basics...
Every day for a whole week
I focused on these THREE things.
attention skills
I knew she was running away from me because in her mind she associated coming back to meso painful (or a loss of freedom). To change that association, I started constantly rewarding her for staying close to me...I did this on our walks, our trips to the pet store, and basically anywhere we went together...
obedience skills
I also started reinforcing responses to basic obedience commands, such as:"SIT!","UNDER!"e"COME IN!"... I've trained her so many times that they're burned into her memory, she's learned to respond to them instantly, almost like she's on autopilot.
relationship skills
Finally, I really wanted our bond to be stronger and I really needed itCHOOSE MEabout the fun of running around the skill ring... So I worked"GAME TIME!"and we played tugs and all sorts of games that made training fun.
get program
And guess what?
When I returned to the agility course a week later,Onyx was a completely different dog...
Everyone in the agility ring was impressed... Especially the dog owner who was wondering if I had trained with Onyx in the past... Well he mentioned how much more observant Onyx was this time.
I continued down this path and continued to train the basics daily and continued to train agility... A year later I finally achieved my dream of competing in Agility and Onyx and won our first canine agility event!
Here's the bond we won...
I can't even describe the sense of accomplishment I felt. I was static.
"Finally we've made it!"…I kept saying Onyx...
maybe you have onedream you want to fulfillwith your dog?
Maybe you too would like to compete in Canine Agility one day... Or maybe you just want to get a well trained family pet that you can proudly take with you wherever you go... Or maybe you can teach your dog some cool tricks...
If you are reading this page, you have probably tried to train your dog in the past...
maybe you triedwatch some YouTube videosto help you get started...
Or…
You may have even attended some local dog obedience classes, but they just don't work.*Clique*with you and your dog... Or the training methods didn't work the way you expected...
Or…
maybe you even have*I lost*and was mad at your dog before... And felt like no matter what you tried nothing seemed to work... And maybe you even gave up training your dog...
I understand completely...
If only raising a dog was that easy...He assumes?!?
Everyone would have a well behaved family dog...
Unfortunately only a few do it...
But it's entirely possible if you really want to...
I am living proof...
I wasn't born a dog trainer, nor was I born into a dog trainer family...
I'm just a regular "Joe" who loved his dog so much he was willing to do anything to learn how to train my dog...
The question is…
What is itYOURdream?
I'm sure you love your dog more than anything in the world and want to offer that to himBETTERlife humanly possible...
You are a good dog owner and youTO DESERVEI also have the dog of your dreams...
A dog that pays attention to you... That listens to your verbal commands... A dog that you can be proud of wherever you go... A dog that inspires your friends and neighbors...
I'm not saying you need to devote your life to studying animal training and becoming a professional dog trainer...
Far from it…
What I'm saying is...what if the next moment was your focus on teaching your dog basic obedience skills?
How much better would your dog do over the next 2...3 or 4 weeks?
How much easier life would be if youYOU KNEWabsolutely sure your dog will come when you call?
How liberating it would be to finally be able to walk your dog anywhere and be able to handle whatever situation life throws at you...
And if…
You looked at your dog and noticed a gleam of happiness... Your dog's tail is wagging and a sense of joy and calm emanates from your dog's eyes...
All of this is the result of taking a little time each day to train your dog...
Wouldn't it be worth it?

Ö5 reasonsYou're still stuck with a dog that won't listen...
(And now how to get your dog out again...)
Reason #1
You don't have time to train your dog.
Do you remember?
The first day you got your dog. Remember how excited your whole family was to welcome your dog into their home? And how did youGROSSplans for you two?
Like most dog owners... you probably thought you could learn to train your dog yourself...
So you opened your laptop, loaded up Amazon and ordered some books about dogs...
Maybe one book was specific to your dog's breed... and another was about dog training...
you read them...
But now... A few months later... These books are on the shelf gathering dust...
And unfortunately... you never found the time to train your dog the way you imagined...
So familiar?
Then you are not alone!
Most dog owners start out with the best of intentions... But life happens and dog training is forgotten...
That's OK…
I know you have a LOT on your plate.
Finding time to train your dog is easier said than done...especially when you have a career to cultivate...
Relationships to nurture... and a family to love and support...
Not to mention... what seems like an endless list of chores taking over your schedule all the time...
What do you need:
What if you set aside 15 minutes every day for 30 days to train your dog?
That's about as much time as it takes to walk your dog around the block. What if every time you exercised you knew exactly what to do so it was easy and you didn't have to figure it all out yourself?
Reason #2
You are not a professional dog trainer.
You researched online how to train a dog...
In fact, you gave yourself and thought of learning everything just so you wouldn't make mistakes...
But while you've struggled to understand all the different dog training approaches and methods...
It all quickly became very confusing...
Positive Reinforcement = Good
Positive Punishment = Bad
But… negative punishment = good?!?
What the hell?
You don't need to know all the confusing jargon to train your dog... who cares what the official name of a training method is... as long as the training works!
To the right?
What do you need:
You don't have to devote your life to studying animal training or learning everything about dog training in order to train your dog... Instead, you just need a proven step-by-step system to follow your dog and end up with a dog from a happy and well educated family.
Reason #3
Your dog is very "stubborn"
And it can't be trained
I remember this day like it was yesterday...
I went to a local dog training show... And all the dog trainers, one by one, showed what they had taught their dogs...
A trainer taught his dog to jump through his arms...
Another taught her dog to curl up in a blanket...
It took about 15 minutes and was a lot of fun...
But then... it happened... My jaw dropped...
Yeah... I'm not kidding... A tiny little pig...
She had taught her pig all the basic obedience commands, such as:"SIT","UNDER"e"FOR!"…
And he obeyed them impeccably ...
But... what was it?MOREimpressive…
It was the fact that she was teaching her pig agility...literally...She brought miniature agility obstacles...Jumps...Bar braiding...Even a tunnel...
And his pig was able to complete the entire skill course without a single mistake...
It felt like I was in an alternate universe where the movie Babe was a reality...
From that day on I realized thatANYAnimal can be trained...
And it completely shattered my own limiting false belief that my dog was too stubborn to be trained... (something that held me back for months when I blamed my dog's lack of training on her stubbornness ...)
maybe you can relate
If you somehow feel that your dog is not "smart enough"... Or that your dog is too "stubborn" to be trained... Then please learn from my experience...
What do you need:
Any dog can be trained, regardless of breed, age or temperament... Even if you have a history of failure and not getting the results you were hoping for...
Everything can change in the blink of an eye as long as you follow a proven strategy... A strategy proven to work for all animal species...
(Hint: positive reinforcement training works with all types of animals...)
Reason #4
Your dog is trying"Meister"Of
You've heard this before...
If your dog isn't listening to you... it's because he's trying to "dominate" you...
And to solve this problem...you need to become the "alpha"...
That means…
roll your dog onto his back... get in the door first... eat your dinner first...
Physically scolding and scolding your dog… being very assertive and strict…
Etc…
How absurd!
Let me share my personal experience with you...
When I was a teenager, my family adopted a beautiful whitish Lhasa Apso puppy we named Tobbie...
He was sweet and very energetic (like most dogs...)
But he wasn't listening... He was tugging at the leash... He was barking at anyone who dared step outside our house... And he was waiting for every opportunity to bite into anything we left behind, whether it was our favorite pair of shoes or the remote control. from the TV...
My family had NO idea how to train Tobbie... So we did what most people do and we listened to what our relatives told us that we should train him...
And you guessed it...
They told us we had to become the "Alpha"...
So we started doing all the stupid things I mentioned above...
Scolding him when he barks... Pulling the leash when he pulls... Shaking a can full of rocks when he's done something "bad"...
It does not work.
Indeed... It made thingsWORSE!
When Tobbie walked into our home he was an energetic, happy, tail-wagging dog... A few weeks after we started taking the bad advice of "going the alpha," he became defensive and started showing signs of aggression around our house to show us...
He bared his teeth and would growl at us if we got too close to him or his food bowl... I remember one night...
My family and I were eating at the dining table around 5pm and Tobbie started whining and begging for some leftovers... My dad was irritated and when he went to get Tobbie to take him to the other room...
Tobbie snapped... growled and bit my father on the right hand... My father was bleeding and clearly upset...
We all sat at the dining table and were shocked by what had happened...
But now 20 years later it's painfully obvious what happened... Tobbie linked us (his family) as the source of the pain... The constant punishments and corrections took a toll on Tobbie...
His behavior wasself-defense mechanism...
What do you need:
The bottom line is this...who you choose to listen to has a HUGE impact on your dog's well-being and the relationship you have with them...
It's important that you get advice from someone who cares
REWARDS-BASED TRAINING METHODS...
Where will your dog be?REWARDEDfor making the right decisions instead of being punished for the wrong ones.
Reason #5
Do you reward "bad" behavior?
"Fido, listen, if!"
"SIT!"
"Siiiiiii!"
This scenario is very common among dog owners... And it usually leads to two things... Or the owner gets their dog into this position by physically squeezing their butt... Which just shows the dog hasn't learned anything...
Or…
Your dog *finally* sits after hearing the verbal command multiple times...REWARDYour dog with a tasty treat...
So familiar?
The problem is that the behavioral response was actual*Dirt*...And I use that term loosely, but it basically means that the dog can respond to a verbal command whenever it wants...
What do you need:
After teaching your dog the verbal commands (dogs don't understand English after all, words are just sounds that are associated with a specific behavior through training)...
ÖTASTEThere must be a window of time when your dog has little time to respond to the verbal command or completely misses the delicious treat. How to get a dog to respond quickly and predictably to your verbal commands...
The good news is...
Train your dog at homeIt has never been so easy...
If you've made it this far, youALREADYknow that following a proven training strategy is key to getting your dog to listen to and obey your verbal commands... There is no point in spending countless hours reinventing the wheel or trying to find out everything yourself...
More important…
Train your dog with aREWARDThe base-based training method ensures that your dog is trained in a fun way, which of course translates into him becoming a friendly, tail-wagging, well-mannered family companion...
No need to remind you of that... 🙂

The Science of Dog Training
Ever wondered WHY your dog develops "selective hearing" and chooses to ignore you when you call and when you give a verbal command?
There's a reason!
This is what you will find out in this module... And you...
- Dive deep into your dog's psychology and mindset, what motivates them and how you can use those motivators to train your dog...
- Learn how to strategically use positive reinforcements (like treats, praise, and play) to get your dog to do what you want... Whether getting your dog to come when you call them, or to obey your command "SIT".
- Discover a simple yet highly effective 4 step training method that I have personally used to teach my dogs all of the basic obedience behaviors...
And a repertoire of over a dozen amazing tricks...
There is an old saying, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day... Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime..."
That's what this module is essentially about...giving you the KNOWLEDGE and TOOLS to teach your dog to do what you want...
And don't worry...
I promise NOT to try to make you a professional dog trainer... I know you don't have the time or energy for that... That's why all the lessons included here are short and to the point...
Nothing will be complicated or overwhelming, just the information you need to successfully train your dog in the comfort and privacy of your own home...
Basic obedience skills
Have you ever seen a YouTube video of a dog doing AWESOME tricks? Like a dog jumping into someone's arms, walking on its hind legs, or even... doing a somersault?
If yes, you are not alone!
I do the same thing when I need a little inspiration...
But... Did you know that each of these amazing dogs had to learn the basics first? Professional dog trainers don't train their dogs with advanced tricks, they start with the basics like sitting, placing, getting up and coming...
Weil?
Because these are the most used behaviors over the course of a dog's life... Think about how many times you've asked your dog to sit down in the last few days... Wouldn't it be nice if your dog listened would? and obeyed the first time he asked you?
In this module
you will take it4 step dog training methodand use it to train your dog in essential obedience skills...
I'll show you step by step with my own dogs so you can easily follow your dog...
- Train your dog"SIT"command... You can use it to "control" your dog when you give him breakfast or dinner... Before opening the front door, when you go for a walk... Before crossing a busy street... Or when you meet a stranger...
- Train your dog"UNDER"... You can use it to keep your dog under control when you want him to stay in a certain position ...
- Train your dog"STAND UP"Command... You can use this to get your dog up when you are at the grooming salon... Or when you are at the vet for the annual check up...
- Train your dog"FOR"Command... You can use it to make your dog come to you when you call him or her... Whether your dog is in the yard, park or any other room...
Did you know that you train your dog to do this
"FOR"Can one day save your life?
A friend of mine had a near death experience with her dog... She was walking her dog near her house when suddenly her dog's collar snapped... It was one of those cheap plastic collars that just clicks...
(Tip for successful dogs: always use a leash with a metal clip that slides through the nylon webbing so it's much less likely to break...)
She tried to call the dog back to her, but he didn't listen and kept running... Worst of all, he crossed the street and got hit by a car... Luckily, the driver looked her dog in the eyes of the cornering car and was able to slow the car down enough that no major damage was done...
Just enough to scare my friend's Bejesus alive...
And that day she learned the importance of teaching her dog to obey commands...
Useful obedience skills
All well-behaved dogs have one thing in common...
Can you guess what it is?
You may have noticed... Dogs trained with REWARD-based training methods tend to pay attention to their owner's body language and location... They always look at their owner with the expectation that their owner will tell them something will give task to do. to do …
This is done by design...
Dogs are naturally distracted by the world and naturally want to get out and examine the myriad of smells, meet new dogs and people and even chase a few squirrels...
To counteract this "instinct," you must constantly REWARD your dog for choosing you over the distractions of the world...
That's what this module is all about, inside you will...
- Train your dog"BETWEEN"Command... The closer your dog is to you, the easier it is to control him... And there's literally no safer place than sitting next to you. It's also very handy when crossing a street or starting a trick routine...
- Train your dog"LOOK AT ME"Command... This is the second most important behavior you will teach your dog (second best after the "Come" command...). on the sidewalk… Or another dog across the street barking at you uncontrollably…
- Train your dog"GAMES"Command... Let's face it, most people don't train their dog because they see it as a task that requires a lot of effort, time and energy... But what if we made the whole process fun and enjoyable, both for YOU and also for YOUR DOG? That's what you'll find out here... How to structure your training sessions in such a way that your dog wags its tail the whole time, while implementing certain rules that make it comfortable for you too...
- Train your dog"BUT"Command... If your dog has a bad habit of putting things in their mouth and running away with them, you NEED this... In fact, any dog should be trained to drop whatever is in their mouth as a Tag can save your life... It also helps A LOT when you play tug of war with your dog and want him to let go...
It's very common... Dogs who hear well at home, but as soon as they leave the house it's like the dog suddenly develops amnesia and forgets all the training...
Could it beTHENfrustrating…
But the solution is simple... All you have to do is focus on developing your dog's attention and obedience skills in different environments... Practice in your backyard... At your local park...
In the parking lot of the church... Etc...
Not only will this help you get a dogHEARtreating it more carefully will also give you the freedom to walkOVERALLwith your dog...

What are the three D's of dog training? ›The three Ds are duration, distance, and distraction, and they affect almost any behavior. If this is difficult, the absolute maximum time for them to be alone is 8 hours, but this is only recommended if your dog has a way to get outside for a bathroom break.
Can dogs be left alone 9 to 5? ›The answer is no. Dog experts advise that dogs shouldn't be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. However, getting to the point where your dog is happy to be left alone takes time and it needs to be built up gradually.
