Built in 2013, Romare Bearden Park is a 12-acre park named after one of Charlotte's great artists, "Romare Bearden." The park has a large grassy area perfect for picnics and games.

Reedy Creek is a massive 927 acre piece of land and a protected natural forest.

Within the reserve there are more than 10 miles of hiking trails, a huge fenced dog area, disc golf courses and a lake where children can spot turtles, fish, birds and lots of other wildlife.
